Did medieval Chola Expansion have an objective?
I have another view. Till Maduranthakar Rule, Rajaraja has to be both kept away and busy. Simillarly when Rajaraja asceneded, Rajendra him self was in 30s and hence has to be kept busy and away. Hence the expeditions.
