I suggested a wiki earlier when I started off the Archiving the messages. I couldn't create and contribute at that time since I was new and didn't have much information/content to create one.
As a first step, created the http://www.ponniyinselvan.net/pages/facts-fiction-and-characters.html for Facts and Fiction and Characters from Gokul's article for new members. As you aware the disadvantage of having email conversation/discussion is that the context/information is lost and buried deep in 20000+ messages and only members who contributed or read about it can get those details. And it is difficult task to go through each mail to figure out the historical facts.
As a second step, I took the facts and fiction article, went through the messages related to it and created the wiki http://wiki.ponniyinselvan.net/ . I tried to present the facts as a third person like wikipedia and given citation to the member messages where possible. As of now it has only few characters, would welcome volunteers to contribute as and when time permits to record the historical facts in one place for future readers as well as our own references.
Any suggestions and criticism are welcome. Since I don't have the narrative skills like our veterans, they may not be up to the standards, any inputs would be appreciated. Look and feel will be modified to ease the reading and navigationI have used the maniam images posted by Dr. Sridhar Rathinam from photos sections. If there is any copyright issues, please let me know, I will remove it.
