I think the cholas deserve as much credit as the greeks in the history of mankind.. If not why would the yavanars (greeks) seek the tamil kingdoms for all the wealth and wisdom....
The cholas have been compared to the Phoenicians and are called the Phoenicians of the east thanks to their naval prowess
The tamils and greeks are similar in many ways...great culture and heritage which was destroyed by internal rivalry...
