Venkat's analysis re backdrop of PS ( POST independence) and SS (Sivakamiyin Sabatham / POST Quit India 1942 ) is well taken and his observation that in the 5 volumes of PS there is only Elam War - where as in SS - Kalki makes an attempt to describe Pallava chalukya War and finally resigns saying : Will leave it to HOMAR or VYASAR to describe the details.. !! and Venkat promptly pays a rich tribute to Kalki - as an Author - for leaving it like that !!
