Kadaaram

    Dear all,

    There was a thread going on in Marabilakkiyam group and proof's were
    pointed out that Kadaram is Burma. Earlier in this group, Sri
    answered my question that Kadaram is Kedah in Malaysia. OTL and
    madras university lexicon say Kadaram is Burma(as pointed out in
    Marabilakkiyam group).

    Can anyone throw light on this? Which kadaram RJ conquered? Can
    anyone please list the old and new names of the countries which
    cholas conquered/did business with?

    Burma being Kadaram is something which I am hearing for the first time.

    Rajendra and further on during Veera Rajendra's Period The Cholas have had wars with the Srivijaya Kingdom

    Dr Jaybee is of the view that Kadaram is Keah of Malaya
