Dear all I was just reading about Roman History yesterday between cases.. there was a son to marcus aurelius who suceede him called commodus..who was a bad ruler...he re introduced gladiation...he was killed by poison and a gladiaotor.... This is histrory but ridley scott created a maximus and brought together a wonderful masterpiece....
Thats exactly what Kalki has achieved.. A valiant crown price is killed his uncle ascendes the throne nad makes way for his brother later who becomes a great king...
He creats plots and subplots charectors and weaves them into a fine opus magnum...
I just couldnt resist but see the similiarities in them....Though storyline wise Gladiator is similar to Yavanarani...banished general going thru hardships finding his way back to his kingdom and restoring the right rule
