The inscription registers a gift of land made tax-free after purchase, by Siddhavadavan Suttiyar, a queen of Uttama-Chola and daughter of a Miladu chief (name not given), to provide for 108 pots of water for the sacred bath on the day of sankranti every month, of the god (Paramasvami) at Tiruvisalur in Amaninarayana-chaturvedimangalam on the northern bank (of the Kaveri).
