An attempt to give pride to the place where i am living and lived.
There were commercial/religious and royal connection between Tamils and Oriyas. This dates back to 6th century BC. Much of the intricate details of these contact/association are not enlightened to the present generations towards Indian traditional knowledge system.A detailed research can bring out much more valuable information also.
An sincere attempt is made on 15.06.2002 to establish a mail network called kalinga_tamil@yahoo.co.in and popularize the subject of linkage between Tamils and Oriyas throughout the web world presently connected to 500 Oriya- Tamil e netizens & related e groups on my project, ex friends of Bhubaneswar, friends in Bhubaneswar, Tamil associations in India and different communities of Bhubaneswar. Linked with different type of societies associated with fine arts and culture Systematic study on Orissa -Tamilnadu links from the sangam age.
Dravidian Contemporary to (utmost for 2500 years since 5th BC) Orissan history, through field archeology studies, epigraphy, numismatics, manuscripts ,literatures and etc... from the both ends. Documenting on rich Orissa cultural heritage through un- identified inscriptions in Tamilnadu and Andhra Pradesh through my e mail networks and field studies. Visited all ancient ports as a part of my studies.
Restoration of princely palaces & heritage buildings constructed before 1935 for cultural tourism links in Orissa, similarly to Rajastan for international tourism.
In the aforesaid matters ,my role is as a consultant for the NGOs on cultural tourism / preservation of rare books, instrumentation in archaeology and encouraging young artists for oil painting in canvas in Orissa . Deeply involved in cultural heritage activities towards Indian Traditional knowledge system since 2002.
Presently I am as a life member of Bhubaneswar Tamil Association, Plant Lovers Association, INTACH, Orissa History Congress, National Adventure Foundation and Allied Historical and Archaeological e- Research Groups.
