Call for papers from CSDMS
  • We take this opportunity to announce the digitalLEARNING India 2007
    conference and exhibition, under the umbrella event eINDIA2007
    (http://www.eINDIA.net.in), the third annual ICT4D forum in India
    being organised by Centre for Science, Development and Media Studies
    (CSDMS) in collaboration with Department of Information Technology,
    Government of India.

    Although technology has succeeded in influencing the education
    outreach and quality in countries like India, supporting processes
    and frameworks that can sustain such efforts have not yet emerged;
    the basic issues of quality, equity and access to education still
    remain unresolved.

    The digitalLEARNING India 2007
    (http://www.eINDIA.net.in/digitalLEARNING)conference aims to provide
    a multi-disciplinary forum to participants to share knowledge and
    ideas enabling them to develop multinational and cross-industry
    contacts and partnerships, as well as to enhance their knowledge,
    expertise, and abilities.

    It is our pleasure to invite papers from policy makers,
    practitioners and consultants, industry leaders, academicians, ICT
    expert and learning community, education scientists & technologists,
    e-Learning content developers, people associated with advocacy, all
    individuals and organisations interested in information and
    communication technology in education, to submit abstract for
    presentation in the conference.

    Topics of interest for submission include, but are not limited to:
    ICT in Education Policy
    School management with ICT
    Teachers' capacity building in ICT
    Pedagogical and curriculum reform in ICT enabled education

    We encourage different presentation methods to make the conference
    interactive through workshop, panel discussion, round table,
    tutorial, etc. and invite proposals and suggestions to design more
    relivant conference sessions where papers matching to your
    experience and expertise can be presented.

    We also provide space to showcase and exhibit your tools and
    technologies in education. Futher discussions on the themes may be
    made with organisers by email to the undersigned.
