  • Extremely good analysis - but the conclusion reg pattamagishi can be
    revisited.

Apart from references provided by SPS, the inscriptions of
Thiruvalanchuzhi assert the royal status enjoyed by Danthisakthi and
her previleges. She had her own karuma maarayam (officials) and was
also issuing royal orders on her own.
Valanchuzhi enjoyed her contributions and also her mother's and
    servant's contributions.

These inscriptions came to light only in the last 2 years.

    Dear Mr Gokul,

My sincere greetings to you. I am very pleased to meet you in this
Website after a very long period. I recall how I was introduced to
"Ponniyin Selvan" for the first time in the year 2004, by you placing
a note in the Forumhub Website requesting me to join this Website, for
which I am very thankful to you.

My earlier postings and the other members's discussions on my
articles, are ranging from the Message No 4013 to 4442 in "Ponniyin
Selvan" if I am correct. At that time I wrote my articles under my own
name, and now under my pen-name "virarajendra". I can remember one of
my posting which interested you very much at that time was that - with
    the title
"The Medieval Chola Empire and its relations with Sri Lanka".

Among the other articles I posted during this period 'more related' to
the Chola historical study - other than the one mentioned above are
    the following.

    * The Medieval Chola Empire and its relations with Kerala

    * The Palanthivukal conquered by the Cholas.

    * A Brief Study on the Cholas of the Medieval Period (Message No 4013)

Also few others of interest are:

    * The References to Tamil Royal Dynasties and Countries in
    Mahabharatha" (of Viyasa)

    * A survey on the Sanskrit and Tamil Dance Treatises Of Tamil Nadu

The other articles of much interest that "I hope to post in this
    Website very soon" are -

    * A brief study on the Sons and Daughters of Rajaraja Chola.

    * The evidences from Inscriptions "positively confirming" the years of
    ascension of the Chola kings.

    * A study on the exact years of conquer of each countires listed in
the Rajaraja Chola & Rajendra Chola's Meikeerththis.

    * The great significance of Kodungallur of Kerala in the history of
    Kerala and Tamil Nadu

"discovered by me for the first time" confirming the war expeditions
of Rajendra Chola - 1 and Kulothunga Chola - 1(on behalf of
    (Virarajendra Chola) to South-East Asia.
