Extremely good analysis - but the conclusion reg pattamagishi can be revisited.
Apart from references provided by SPS, the inscriptions of Thiruvalanchuzhi assert the royal status enjoyed by Danthisakthi and her previleges. She had her own karuma maarayam (officials) and was also issuing royal orders on her own. Valanchuzhi enjoyed her contributions and also her mother's and servant's contributions.
These inscriptions came to light only in the last 2 years.
My sincere greetings to you. I am very pleased to meet you in this Website after a very long period. I recall how I was introduced to "Ponniyin Selvan" for the first time in the year 2004, by you placing a note in the Forumhub Website requesting me to join this Website, for which I am very thankful to you.
My earlier postings and the other members's discussions on my articles, are ranging from the Message No 4013 to 4442 in "Ponniyin Selvan" if I am correct. At that time I wrote my articles under my own name, and now under my pen-name "virarajendra". I can remember one of my posting which interested you very much at that time was that - with the title "The Medieval Chola Empire and its relations with Sri Lanka".
