I'm yet to read Dr.Sethuraman on this claim. Not sure on what basis he derived this. My opinion is this :
* Vikrama chozha marayar is known as "KUVALALAYATHAR AMBALAVAANAN PAZHUVOOR NAKKANAANA VIKRAMA CHOZHA MAARAYAR". His ancistors hailed from Kuvalalapuram (kolar) in karnataka and hence the name kuvalalayathar (this is from Sadasiva pandarathar)
Whereas Pazhuvetaraiyars came from Kerala. So Vikrama sozha marayar may not have been a pazhuvettaraiyar. The title "Pazhuvoor Nakkan" - what does it mean ? Not sure. Nakkan is a title for shiva as per Dr.K. So he might have been named after pazhuvoor shiva (may be!!).
Connecting him with panchavan maadevi needs more evidence :-)). I'll read Dr.Sethuraman this week to see what he says:-)
