It is a successful meet organised by the compact TEAM of
Vijay - Venkat - Muruganandam - Thiru
and the overwhelming response need to be channelised ..
We are sure we will plan something more in this direction ...
WE exchange only Greetings on the Aadiperukku day ..
As members recall, Aadiperukku - falls on 18th Aadi, August 3rd this year, is the commencing event of PS Story line..
and fortunately this year, we have Mother River Cauvery flowing in full swing in the Cauvery belt area - including Kulithalai - Trichy - Thanjai (thiruvaiyaru to be precise) area..
3rd August being Wednesday (working day) - some get together can be planned on the 6th August - Saturday by Group members inviting members around their area !!
like I can offer supportfor a get-together in a Thennanthope (Coconut Grove) located on the banks of Arasalaru - near (Kumbakonam ) Pazhayarai - Sundara Perumal Koil to be precise - for a get together on the evening - with CHITHRANNAM served !!
Depending on members response we can organise this as a Tour - or leave it individual members to confirm participation - assembling at a common point in Kumbakonam !
And of Course there can be a Marina Meet or Elliots Beach Meet in Chennai. !!
Bangaluru members can plan their meet likewise.. !!
Vizag Dhivakar can plan an event in his area...
and Sri Sri would love to plan a meet on this day in the USA and on 3rd August - he may broadcast AADIPERUKKU Chapter in his Radio progm !!

dear all i just read the urai for karuvur thevars raja rajeshwaram temple thiruvisapa
he describes the town in its glory. the man was impressed with the cloud high fort walls of thanjai he talks about armed men on the walls he talks about noisy roads ( like the sea he says)and royal elephants on them he talks about the crocodiles in vadavaru which serves as the moat
he also talks about kings ( with venkotra kudais)crowding this town and in their jostling for space their crowns hit each other and the gems drop down forming small mounds of gems on the floor
he talks of insence smoke and yaal music
in short he is talking about a vibrant town. a town full of prosperity and life
he must there fore have seen this town in the times of rrc for soon after rrc the focus shifted elsewhere.
