On the eve of forthcoming 107th birthday of the man who was responsible for uniting all of us beyond our class, creed, place, age and knowledge - it gives immense pleasure to note that we are now all set to become a 1000 member strong team. Just few more members and we will be there.
A SINGLE team of 1000 members.
Mere numbers do not represent anything. But to us it represents many things.
We grew from humble beginnings. We were just two when we began. Soon we becaome 50. 50 became 500 and 500 has become 1000. Few years have passed. Many many things have been achieved.
We did face some problems from time to time. But the spirit of kalki was always there to lead and kindly light. And it will continue to do so. We hardly discuss kalki these days. But kalki himself will be proud that the seed which he had sown has now become a big tree.
Remaining in a group is not easy. We lose all our individualities and become one with the group. We hail group's welfare above and beyond ours. We all can be proud about that.
PS group has beginners. Experts. Students. Teachers. Learners and the learned. And together we are one family.
We have been blessed with association of scholars. We have been blessed with the guidance of SPS. All this was possible because we all had direct blessings of Kalki inspired by true interest in History and Ponniyinselvan.
PS group helped to identify writers in some of us. It produced archaeologists. Travel organisers. And above all FRIENDS. It produced people who would use latest information technology to dig things from the past.
It broke many traditional myths.
There have been heated arguements. But all in search of truth.
We have been blessed with participation of learned scholars which is a boon to us.
PS group messages are not moderated. And it will never be. Together, all of us believe that each and every member of the group wishes the well being of every one else and staying together. We believe that our members know what to write. We are open in discussing / argueing / questioning facts of history presented to us. We do not hesitate to change our opinion if we are proven to be wrong. There is nothing called defeat in pursuit of knowledge.
Kalki's spirit will be proud of us. We will grow as we have grown till

Dear All, Congratulations to all who have been a part of this PS group. You are true Kalki will be really happy to see this group grow and be active everyday. All of the members have been so enthusiastic about every topic that was posted in the group. I have been a silent observer but thought it ll be right to congratulate all of you who have done this great work because everyone who are fans of Kalki' s work are being benefited by this group to gain more knowledge bout THE GREAT INDIAN HISTORY in particular TAMIL HISTORY because schools have always taught us the north historians but never stressed on the south. This is one of the best places to improve our knowledge and know how human beings are always in quest of knowledge. I will not take much of your precious time so ill stop it here. Keep up the good work. All the best in all your future endeavours.
