Time Travel ;)
  • Nanbargallukku Vanakkam,

Since the first time i read PS, i travel all the places along with
VandiyaDevan in my mind, as if i'm riding there. Hope most of u had
the same experiences. But, thinking of that i'm stuck with a question
how many of us had the experience in real?
I mean, how many of us had really been there at those places?
That too in the same chronological order?
It sounds impossible but fantastic to me. How do you people feel about
the same? If its possible, we can form a team or so, and make it up to
the places in the same chrono order as Vandiya visited there, like a
pilgrimage or a historical picnic or whatever u call it.
    Whats ur opinion abt this???

  • Hi

you have to have a high dose of imagination when you make the trip.

only the light house at kodikarai and veeraanam lake remain other
    than temples mentioned in ps.
however they are precisely what existed when kalki wrote the book.
    no further detioration.
most of the place names are same because kalki wrote about them only
    in 50s.
  • Dear Karikalan
The PS group has already done that in 2004 it was even published in kalki as Vandiyadevanin vazhiyil
  • Hi Sridhar,
I didn't know about this b4. But this is a nice piece
of info. Will there be any more picnics like this in
    future? ne ideas friends?
    Nandrigaludan,
    Amar
