Is a complete English translation available on the Internet
  • Folks,
My parents and relatives always used to read and talk about Kalki's
novels. I just started reading the English translation put out by
Project Madurai. Alas, it has just two parts.

Does anybody know of a complete english translation on the Internet?
I assume the english translation is available as printed volumes! Does
anybody know if they are available in Bangalore and the price?
  • Matter simple: English translation on the Internet irrukka illaya?
    Matter is not language comparison.

I wish you hadn't gone the language route, I know you are well meaning
and are trying to help me. But you assume everybody is well versed in
    Tamil apart from other assumptions.

Between you and me, I perfectly understand and agree with you 400% -
the original form of literatures is the best form to enjoy them. I
have no qualms in accepting it.

Personally, I feel comfortable reading English than Tamil as I was not
schooled in Tamil and all my knowledge of Tamil is self learned. Hence
I will not understand some of the written literary words, and probably
will take me a lot of time and effort for me to read.

I know I will be missing some of the nuances, and plethora of emotions
    - but that is a price I have to pay. Maybe once I read the English
translation, I will get to the Tamil original and enjoy it truly.

I am a newbie here. I thought this group discussed only PS. I am
    looking for PS in English.

Thanks for giving me the link.
  • There seems to be no COMPLETE translations. I might have to just buy
the books. Thanks for those additional links.
  • Do you know if the English version printer books are available in
    Bangalore?
