Sorry to post this into our group. But I think this is as important as our history. If we don't follow, we might not even have history to tell our future generations !
Last saturday (or Sunday i forgot), Google did an amazing thing to stress this concept. I am not sure it was energy conservation day or something like that...
www.google.com in US had a black background instead of the usual white. The note said that its a indication to switch of lights and conserver energy and requested the public to switch off the lights from 8 to 9pm that day as a mark of spreading the awareness(ofcourse i forgot to switch off during that time :)).
Google never seizes to amaze me with their nitty gritty innovations.
