kalki giving so much importance to a small charecter ( she is
pallavans brother in law nedumarans wife) shows his deep interest in
shaivism

in SS mangayarkarasis father the chola tells her that she has this
regai of sangu sakkaram and so she will be the queen of an empire....
not only does she become a queen but becomes a nayan mar and is one
of the handful of women mentioned in the devaram

yes indeed
it was wonderful to see kalki cloth such a superhuman charecter in
flesh and blood.

in ss you see her battling between her faith and the love for a man
of another faith

but like most wives she has her way in the end and our and was indeed
better off.

i think nedumaran and mangayarkarasi are the only couple in the 63
nayanmar.
