Dear Venkatesh I will swear by Typing rather than scanning if we want true digital preservation thats why project madurai does it that way I am not sure as to how good the tamil OCRs are and secondy there is the problem of tamil script chnages on nedils Pavithra and I know the painof proofreading such texts as we both were involved in proof reading E PS for project madurai
