    Planning to visit rishikesh for a week . 16-23rd.
     
    request members to give me details on importatnt things to see in
     
    1. Haridwar
    2. rishikesh
    3.Deva prayag
    4. Gangotri ( Not planning Gomug)
     
    Importantly the devaprayag Ram temple, (divya desam)which is an ASI monument with brahmi inscriptions.
     
    Any detail on the inscriptions.request details from members.

    All I think of is the place of Daksha's sacrifice : Kankhal -- 2 miles
    down from Haridwar, Ganga / Niladhara Sangama.

    Enjoying Mother Ganga.

    2 days haridwar, 3 days rishikesh, 1 day deva prayag. ( another place associated with Tamil Ramayan)- Now back to Rishikesh. 2marrow and day after at Haridwar.

    Monday leaving for chennai.

    So many intresting people on the banks of Ganga. Many people from Tamilnadu- from all the parts of Tamilnadu. - Bus loads to Badari and Kedar.

    I think the credit goes to Sri AMR of Kumudam jyodidam.
