    >>Keezhakkadambur was dilapidated. No deity, ruins, Full of SNAKES!
Mostly we gather History from such ruined temples - because they
    were RUINED for some reason!

    >>The Diety was found broken and kept outside the sanctum. It was
UTHIRAPATHI. Unlikely name in Southern temples. Inflict memories of
Laguleesam - Pasupatham etc (Rajendra - Pazhivettarayar practised)!

Pardon my ignorance, but what does this mean? I Google-ed and was
only able to learn that Laguleesa-Pasupatham is a sect in saivism.
Will you throw more light on this?

    >>Is there any sembelence that ADITHAKARIKALAN's murder was also
considered a sacrifice? Given to an UTHIRAPATHY?

    >>Some one duped AK (Like Meykandanayanar - Dattan episode?) and
murdered him - DROHIN? And by any chance, is it where AK's remains
    buried ? A PALLIPPADAI?

God this may really be true! Though I am an ardent fan of AMV and
VD, I admired AK a lot. PS portrays him more as a moorkkan. I
thought, a ruler/warrior needs that trait in him.

If this true, AK's sacrifice did not go in vain!

Coming to think of it, the eldest son's death seems to have alway
benefited the younger ones and the entire clan. In this case, AMV
    was the beneficiary.

Rajadithan another eldest who was also cunningly murdered in the
thakkolam battle, evokes similar memories to me. Though, Cholas lost
major parts of Thondai mandalam, this war did good to the kingdom.
Kandaradithar and Arinjayar the younger ones were the beneficiaries.

  • -aaditya karikalan was a man in a hurry.
entered the battle field at 14(?)
fell in love earlier than that.
did you notice even his language. we could always find him jumping to
    conclusions,( the hunt at kadambur)
i always imagine ak's voice slurring like a drunk, the result of the
inernal feeling s overtaking the spoken word.
